When my mind starts to tell me to stop, I shorten my goals for that immediate satisfaction that the mind likes so much. Every step I take beyond my minds perceived limits is empowering.

LISTENING TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE
Listening to the right people and advice has really helped to improve my running form and lessen pain.
Lesson 7 - THIS IS GOING TO BE HARD
This is going to take some strength and heart! There is nothing wrong with me or what I am doing. This is actually hard!
Lesson 6 - I MUST REMAIN FLEXIBLE
We cannot let the little hurdles and side tracks discourage us and take our sights off the bigger end goal.
Lesson 5 - THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE
At a minimum, ask an expert when getting running shoes. It has changed my whole running game!
Lesson 4 - THERE WILL BE SETBACKS - TAKE THEM IN STRIDE
There will be setbacks, but I will take them in stride.
Lesson 3 - THE RUN IS THE REWARD
The positive impacts of the run themselves are enough reward. Plus I kinda like running.

Embrace challenges today, to be prepared when meeting them later.
